Imperial Favour

The main story is complete. Please bookmark my upcoming novel.

Tang Zhuozhuo, the legitimate eldest daughter of the Tang family of the capital, married into the Eastern Palace in grand style, only to spend the rest of her life in the cold palace’s crumbling, walled courtyard.

Until her dying day, she never forgot the young general she had held dear.

Only after she died did she learn that the aloof king, who she had thought mutually detested her, watched the candlelight in her room from above the cold palace walls every night.

And the young general she had constantly pined for had long since married the one he loved.

Who would have thought that when she opened her eyes again, she would be back at the moment she had first entered the Eastern Palace, just after she had given the future Emperor Chongjian, a decisive and ruthless ruler, a piece of her mind?

The man’s face was livid with rage.

Tang Zhuozhuo trembled: I’m… I’m done for!

Huo Qiu found it strange. His Crown Princess, who had once resisted him so fiercely, seemed like a different person. She had stopped making a fuss and had even brought him several plates of pastries.

Faced with his beloved’s sudden show of affection, the future wise and mighty Emperor Chongjian furrowed his noble brows, then naturally accepted everything she offered.

A little scene:

Tang Zhuozhuo often nagged Emperor Chongjian to show her more affection. Without even realizing it, he gave her everything: her title, his affection, and punishment for the concubines. Yet she still had the nerve to be unsatisfied.

Later, Emperor Chongjian lifted the beauty’s sweat-damp chin and gazed into her shining, tear-filled eyes. His voice was deep and husky. “How much more affection do I have to show you?”

A novel by the author’s wife: “Rong Shi Chu Yu”

“Rong Shi Chu Yu” by Li Zhi Hen Tian

[How about becoming Big Brother’s bride?]

Blurb One:

A young lady came to stay with the Rong family. Everyone joked that she was being raised as a child bride for Second Young Master Rong.

Second Young Master Rong sneered. “Whoever wants her can take her.”

That very day, Chu Yu arrived at the Rong residence. Hiding behind Old Madam, she peeked out and timidly called him Brother Ting.

Three years later, Chu Yu came of age, and suitors arrived one after another. Old Madam Rong busily set about choosing a husband for her.

Chu Yu whispered, “The third young master of the Huai family seems nice, and he lives nearby. Grandmother can stand up for me, too. What do you think, Brother Ting?”

Rong Ting: “…Lin Chu Yu, what the hell did you just say?”

Second Young Master Rong, thinking to himself: Nearby? Stand up for you? Do you think I’m dead? Weren’t you supposed to be my little bride?

Later, Rong Ting said to her through her bridal veil, “Rong Chu Yu sounds nice, doesn’t it?”

Chu Yu blushed and said softly, “I-it’s all right, I guess.”

Blurb Two:

Second Young Master Rong stopped the young woman he claimed to dislike, stared at the lips he had coveted for ages, leaned down, and quickly kissed her.

“Lin Chu Yu, are you still going to marry someone else?”

Chu Yu clutched his clothes and cried, sobbing, “Why did you bite me?”

Rong Ting ran his tongue over his upper teeth. “Tsk, you’re sweet. I like it.”
