[Naruto] It's Both a Ball and a Chrysanthemum

The fourth story in the gender-swap group

A cringeworthy old work, but I can't bring myself to lock it

This is a story about a gender-swapped Temari. She grows up step by step like a female Temari should, yet somehow it still doesn't feel like enough.

Because he was never strong enough to defy his incompetent father and show his younger brother some love. His brother may have caused their mother's death, but in the end, he was still our little brother, the child their mother chose to bring into the world...

Maybe it's because the environment is so harsh that even my little brother looks handsome to me... That's right, I don't like girls...

Konoha has such a wonderful environment, so nurturing, with everything you could want and everyone treated equally. It's nothing like our place, where even the elite have to be laid off!

They have a very interesting kid. His name is Shikamaru Nara.

Interesting.

Temari is like a chrysanthemum in all its many forms: dazzling colors and a passionate atmosphere. It's not springtime, but it's even better than spring.

(I was stuck for a name. When I came up with Red Rose for the gender-swapped Kushina, I thought she was the kind of person who bloomed brilliantly and stayed in love forever. Red roses symbolize passionate love. Anyway, when I was naming this one, I thought of the homophone between Temari and chrysanthemum, and she really seemed like an autumn chrysanthemum, so I went with that.)

Chrysanthemum symbolism: purity, nobility, I love you, true feelings, and fond remembrance

(As for Gaara's surname, whether it's Sabaku or Taki is still up for debate. Baidu says it's a nickname and he has no surname, while another version says it's a surname. So I'll... just say they don't have surnames. Like Tenten and some others, it's not uncommon.)

The Hokage series is ridiculously sweet. I looked through some pictures today, and the male version of Temari was so handsome that I wanted to write this again...
