A Straightforward Uchiha's Guide to Self-Preservation

◆Blurb (updated daily at 6 p.m.):

Touma transmigrated.

The good news: He's a powerful Uchiha in the relatively safe Konoha. The bad news: He's two years older than Kakashi.

It's known that Itachi died at 21 and Kakashi is 30. So when Itachi massacred his clan at 13, Kakashi was 22, and he was 24.

Dying young! He died even earlier than someone who unlocked the Demon Slayer Mark!

That's right, this is his second transmigration.

The first time he transmigrated, Touma's family had been slaughtered, and he became the pillar of the 96th Lord. Before he died, he awakened his mark for 30 seconds, then died from poison just before dawn.

He died at 23.

The second time he transmigrated, the Uchiha were going to be massacred, and Touma would be one of them.

He was going to die at 24.

This time, with his cheat ability, a naturally awakened mark, he thought sadly: At least I should live to a ripe old age. Can I make it to 25?

If he wanted to survive and prevent the clan's massacre, he had to make sure the Uchiha weren't ostracized and Danzo couldn't meddle. That left only one option...

Touma's eyes lit up: Become Hokage!

Everyone said that Konoha's new Hokage was too young, lacked maturity, and wasn't up to the job. He was also an Uchiha who could lose control.

But he was tough on the outside and fiercely protective of his own on the inside. His strength was formidable, and the people of Konoha enjoyed peaceful lives under his rule...

The Hokage's abilities were beyond question.

◇[Please note]

①. The entire story is in third person. It's a regret-redemption story. CP undecided (no betting on pairings).

②. OOC warning. I'll do my best to keep everyone in character.

③. The protagonist's name was chosen at random.

④. I politely decline writing advice. *bows*

⑤. Let's part on good terms. Please don't mention other story titles in the comments.

⑥. I'll add more if I think of anything. Leaving this here for now.

Theme: To defend this hard-won peace, I suppose we have no choice but to give it our all.
