Demon Slayer Reemployed in Beika Town

◆Pre-release original fiction: A Certain Scientific Magical Girl Classmate and Beika Town Knight's Code are at the bottom ↓ ◇This story will enter VIP on 10/17, with a three-chapter update. Thank you for your support! ◇Story blurb (updated daily at 6 p.m.; comments enabled): As the title says, I, Yuuki Yakumo, am a demon hunter affiliated with the Demon Slayer Corps. Some time ago, during the decisive battle against the Demon King, I was on the verge of death when I somehow crossed into the modern era, sword in hand and completely unharmed. I looked at the traffic all around me: ...Huh? With my beloved sword, Ryuko, I wandered from place to place, seeing Yokohama and Namimori Town before finally deciding to settle down in Beika Town. At least it wasn't as dangerous as other places, and the locals seemed simple and honest. The identity that came with me made it easy to establish myself in the modern world, but retirement didn't work out. I couldn't turn a blind eye to suffering, so the night watchman returned to his old job. I work hard at Todai by day, and play the vigilante by night. Until... Scream! The purple-eyed police officer I fell in love with at first sight is on a spectacular death countdown! After barely managing to save him, and to fill the emptiness left by being 'unemployed,' I resolved to study for the police exam. As soon as I graduated and joined the Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department, I discovered that the purple-eyed officer's childhood friend, the curly-haired cop, was on a death countdown at the Ferris wheel. What? An undercover agent's cover is blown? Huh? A truck's out of control? What?! Who was it who thought Beika Town was so simple and honest that I could retire here? Me, apparently. Never mind, then. #Yuuki the Officer Fails to Retire Again Today# “You brats, stay alive!” “What are you acting so high and mighty for, junior? Call me your senior like a good kid, I said!” “Come on, Jinpei, calm down~” ◇[A Few Things to Know] 1. A rescue story for the police academy group. 2. OOC warning, though I'll do my best to keep everyone in character. 3. Entire story is in third person; CP: Hagi. 4. Mainly Detective Conan, with a little Bungo Stray Dogs and the Port Mafia. 5. Please add it to your collection! ◇Story blurb: One day, Makino Natsuo heard a strange voice. It said: Chosen boy, if you have no objections, become a magical girl and save this world! Twenty-one-year-old Makino Natsuo, no longer a boy and very much male: Huh? And so, a short-tempered magical girl who had plenty of objections but couldn't argue her way out of it came into being. The real him was 185 centimeters tall, but transformed, he became a 150-centimeter magical girl. Grumbling, he brought his wand down on a monster: “Take this wand! Ever heard of physical exorcism?!” After becoming a magical girl, Makino Natsuo lived by the motto: The demon may be a foot taller, but magic has one more wand! So he bonked two white-haired and black-haired people with ridiculously long hair, an undercover senior's childhood friend, a similarly short-tempered curly-haired cop... and so on, all equally. Magical girls can do anything! Even if you're a god, I'll save you! The voice: Achoo! The voice: Makino, your transformation is about to run out. Makino Natsuo: slumps.jpg Later, one day, Amuro Toru asked suspiciously, “By the way, are you sure you don't have an older brother?” Makino Natsuo sat quietly as a chicken. #The Thing About Me Being My Own Older Brother# #I Really Don't Have a Younger Sister Either# ◆Original fiction: Beika Town Knight's Code, CP: Akai. A spectacular battle of wills between adults! ◇Story blurb: As an undercover agent, one is supposed to abandon excessive morals and scruples, cut off all feelings, and show no compassion. ...That's how it should be. When Aihara Kaisei first met Akai, a mysteriously bound System declared: “Host, today's task is to be ace Akai's knight for a day.” Aihara: ... Akai, who followed him even to the bathroom: ...Are you all right? When he was forced to look after a kid, the System said: “Host, today's task is to be future Sherry's knight for a day.” Aihara: ...Oh. Shihō, who was being watched even while doing homework: I-is this how closely the Organization keeps tabs on people? System: “Host, today's task is to be the Top Killer's knight for a day.” Aihara: Wait, who? Gin, followed even when he went out for a drink, drew his very physical holy sword: Get lost! System: “To preserve a knight's purity, follow the knight's code and protect an innocent child in Gin's presence.” Aihara: Huh? Who? Me? Later, after he'd actually completed the tasks, the rumors about him in the Organization grew increasingly strange. Everyone said he followed some bizarre knightly code: he wouldn't kill the elderly, women, or children, nor anyone righteous. He was always weirdly insisting he wanted to be someone's knight for a day and muttering about his code. Dai Moroboshi, newly arrived at the Organization: Doesn't that sound a lot like an undercover agent? Everyone: No way, no way. He's a lunatic! The System kept its head down and took no credit. #Also Known As: Can You Succeed as an Undercover Agent with Such High Standards? / A Bizarre Way to Go Undercover / The Organization's Soft-Hearted Lunatic# Theme: There will always be someone willing to shoulder the burden in this flourishing age, walk alongside their ideals, and stand by peace.
