The Siren's Sleeping Beauty [Western Crossover]

◇◆ Next up is another big-shield story. Please add it to your collection: "[Western Crossover] The Prince and His Shield" ◆◇ Siren, a siren. A beautiful sprite born from the blood of the river god Achelous. They say she has a human upper body and a fish tail, full breasts and a slender waist, hair like strands of seaweed, eyes like gemstones, and skin as smooth as jade. A bewitching beauty with an enchanting voice. Cunning and treacherous. They also say that sirens live in remote stretches of sea full of reefs and whirlpools. During storms, they climb onto the reefs and sing to confuse sailors, making them lose their sense of direction until they crash onto the reefs or into the heart of a whirlpool. There, they meet their deaths beneath the waves. What people don't know is that sirens are born without a sex, and the songs they sing on stormy nights aren't meant to lure travelers at sea. Sirens live in separate clans, each far from the others. Finding food and fighting for resources against the massive creatures that haunt the ocean depths, where few living things can survive, consume most of their energy. Angus's clan was hit especially hard. After a human naval battle, Ta was the only fish left. For the first time, Ta surfaced, sang all night on a reef in the storm, then flicked Ta's tail and set off alone for the legendary polar regions. To find the purest water and the tastiest fish. But all Ta found was a human frozen in ice. ★Tips★ 1. Sirens are a nonhuman species in this story, and apart from their name, they have nothing to do with the birdlike creatures in mythology. Some elements are borrowed from the TV series Siren. There are a ton of original ideas, and all interpretations are mine. 2. This breaks up the canon pairing of the shield and Peggy [obviously]. No crack pairings in the main story. 3. I won't bash or glorify any characters who aren't my original creations, but I can't guarantee that my interpretations will match yours. If you don't like it, quietly click away. 3. The timeline, characters, and map are all my own creations. I'll do my best to make the logic consistent. If I can't, I'll explain in the author's notes. 4. This isn't a story where everyone is gay. Theme:
