Other people get promoted, get rich, and lose their wives, then rise to the top of the world.

Rong Xi becomes a queen dowager, never has to worry about money, and loses her husband, then begins a happy life.

Rong Xi realizes she has transmigrated into the most exalted widow in the Southern Kingdom. She thinks she's just completed three great leaps in life.

Just as she's about to plan her new life, she discovers something terrifying.

Why is she being buried alive with her dead husband?

This isn't how the story is supposed to go! Please let me transmigrate back! QAQ!

As the saying goes, food can be eaten carelessly, but words should never be spoken carelessly.

Xia Yishan crouches in a deserted desert, close to tears.

At last, she understands what it means to bring trouble upon yourself.

All she did was casually say that a painting was ugly,

but a petty immortal who claimed his painting skills were the best under heaven tossed her into this godforsaken place.

Now she's embarked on a journey through different worlds, doing everything she can to get herself killed.

Others wail and beg to live. She throws tantrums and begs to die.

World One:

Assassin Ke Yi draws his sword and kills with a single, clean stroke. "No one can know my name."

Xia Yishan, dying with her eyes closed: "What a fine swordsman."

World Two:

Scholar Ke's hand trembles as he holds the knife. "I can't kill anyone. My teacher never taught me how."

Xia Yishan snatches the knife and presses it to the scholar's neck. "Are you going to kill me or not?"

World Three:

Emperor Ke: "I never kill anyone with my own hands."

Xia Yishan: "Make an exception."

World Four:

Monk Ke: "Amitabha. I am a monk. I cannot take life."

Devout Xia Yishan: "Master, don't be shy. Just treat me like a demon and subdue me."

World Five...

After playing all kinds of roles with the people in the paintings across different worlds, from assassins and scholars to the ruler of the world, monks, martial arts overlords, and cult leaders, Xia Yishan can only say:

"Move aside. Don't keep me from dying. Hero up ahead, don't go. Please kill me first. It won't take much of your time."
