You're Sick, You Need a Cure [Legend of the White Snake]

The White Snake, Bai Suzhen, was on the verge of becoming an immortal, but she couldn't break through the final barrier. She went down the mountain with the Green Snake to seek an opportunity and unexpectedly discovered a heavenly book. It contained a legendary guide to cultivating immortality, but they soon realized the book had its own agenda. Its instructions were full of hidden traps: while telling them to build up merit, it also taught them to cause trouble.

The heavenly book told them to heal the sick and save lives, but also to kill and rob. It told them to do good deeds and accumulate virtue, but also to make trouble wherever they went.

The heavenly book said to rid the people of evil, but also told them to rob the treasury.

The heavenly book said to practice medicine and save the world, but also told them to spread plagues.

The heavenly book told them to fight evil cultivators and demons, but also to admit defeat as soon as things went south.

The heavenly book told them to seal away demon beasts, but then accused them of animal abuse.

The heavenly book said Xu Xian would become a monk?

The heavenly book said Bai Suzhen would lose all her magic and revert to her original form?

The heavenly book said Xiao Qing would be trapped beneath Leifeng Pagoda?

The heavenly book said Fahai would live out his life alone?

What's wrong with this heavenly book? It's sick. It needs treatment.
