Blurb
Lin Bailu is a temporary administrator at the Transmigration Management Bureau. Every day, she transmigrates to different worlds to clean up the mess left behind by transmigrators. Unfortunately, she has terrible luck: she transmigrates into an empress and gets poisoned to death, into a martial arts alliance leader's wife and gets stabbed to death, and into a cult leader's wife and gets scared to death...
Something seems off. Why does she keep dying?
Tang Ming: Here's the key point: she always transmigrates into my wife.
To sum it all up, Lin Bailu comes up with an important equation:
Tang Ming = troublemaker = endless messes to clean up = bad luck = pay cuts,
Therefore, Tang Ming = pay cuts.
Lin Bailu: "I quit!!!"
Tang Ming's response to this equation is:
Lin Bailu = my wife.
A little skit
Boss: "Lulu, Tang Ming got the emperor in World A killed. Hurry and fix it."
Lin Bailu, about to clock out: "On my way."
Boss: "Lulu, Tang Ming talked the demonic cult leader's wife in World B into leaving. Hurry and fix it."
Lin Bailu, who had finally made it home: "On my way."
Boss: "Lulu, Tang Ming crippled the martial arts of the martial arts alliance leader in World C. Hurry and fix it."
Lin Bailu, eating breakfast: "On my way."
Boss: "Lulu, Tang Ming says he'll stop causing trouble if you marry him."
Lin Bailu, half asleep: "On my way."
Key point: This makes no sense!
Next book: "Transmigrated as a Cannon Fodder's Spoiled Brat" (Book Transmigration)
Su Xinyu took a fall of truly historic proportions and died on the spot. When she opened her eyes, she found herself inside a book, as a spoiled little cannon fodder whose only purpose was to make the heroine shine.
This cannon fodder's sole purpose was to cause trouble, stir things up, and play the villain, doing everything possible to annoy the hero so the heroine could look kind, wonderful, and flawless.
Don't want to play the villain? Fine, get struck by lightning first.
Not wanting to get up close and personal with the thunderbolts, Su Xinyu resigned herself to making the hero, Xiu Mingyuan, hate her. Who knew he would interpret all her antics as proof that she was head over heels for him? Not only did she fail to make him hate her, she ended up pinned against a wall.
Xiu Mingyuan: "Woman, you've succeeded in getting my attention."
Su Xinyu: "Handsome, that line is way too cheesy. Could you try another one?"
Xiu Mingyuan: "It's morning. Time to get married."
Su Xinyu: "I'm not the one you're supposed to marry..."
Xiu Mingyuan: "You could be."
Next book: "A Thousand Years of Cultivation, All for Counting Money Together"
Si Qingqing:
A woman who shares her fate with the God of Poverty. She gets fired for no reason whenever she looks for a job, and every business venture she tries loses money.
With no other choice, she goes to pray at a temple. The Buddha tells her solemnly that a thousand years ago, she caused a huge mess and made someone who should have been rich beyond measure become a pauper. To escape her fate, she must help that person regain his destiny of becoming fabulously wealthy.
Si Qingqing rides the premium lotus throne she conned from the Buddha back a thousand years to find her debtor, Mo Xingyi. But she never expected him to be even more unlucky than she is. Whenever he gets his hands on money, either someone gets murdered or he injures someone and has to pay compensation.
Sticking to her principles, Si Qingqing decides that if she can't hold on to her money, she'll earn it and spend it on shopping. The things she buys are assets too, and can make her rich beyond measure. So she buys fields, land, and houses. If it can be sold, she buys it.
If she can't spend all her money, she'll lend it out: to the poor, wealthy merchants, high-ranking officials, and even the emperor. She'll lend until the whole world is filled with love, and everyone owes her money.
A little skit:
Si Qingqing: "Could you give me a hand?"
The Buddha: "There are countless gods and Buddhas in heaven. Ask anyone you like."
Si Qingqing: "Dragon King, there's a drought here. Could you make it rain?"
Dragon King: "No problem."
Si Qingqing: "Brother Monkey, there's a demon causing trouble. Could you catch it?"
Sun Wukong: "No problem."
Si Qingqing: "Fairy Chang'e, I've been craving something lately. Could you make me a mooncake?"
Chang'e: "No problem."
Si Qingqing: "Bodhisattva, could you recite the Great Compassion Mantra for me?"
Bodhisattva: "No problem."
Si Qingqing: "What should I do if I can't spend all my money? Lend it out!"
The Crown Prince: "Could I borrow some money to ascend the throne?"
The Empress Dowager: "Could I borrow some money to live as a widow?"
The Great General: "Could I borrow some money to suppress some bandits?"
The Martial Arts Alliance Leader: "Could I borrow some money to get into a fight?"
The Demonic Cult Leader: "Could I borrow some money to start a rebellion?"
Si Qingqing: "No problem. You can repay money debts with favors."
Demon: "Could I borrow some money to eat Tang Monk?"
Si Qingqing: "Where did you come from?"
PS: Mo Xingyi is pronounced Mo Xingyi.
