Deep Love at First Sight

[The print edition is now available QAQ]

Sheng Qianzi had superb acting skills and became famous at a young age. She won the title of Best Actress for her role in "Love and Longing in a Fallen City," when she was only twenty-two.

Plenty of popular young male stars did everything they could to ride her coattails and pursue her.

She made her feelings clear: "I'm not interested. They're not my type."

Her friends in the industry all knew she liked Dr. Gu, who lived downstairs and was six years older than her. Unfortunately, Dr. Gu didn't like her.

Sheng Qianzi took a deep breath, holding the gift she'd brought back from overseas as she prepared to confess again.

But when the man's door opened, she spotted a pretty girl sitting cross-legged on the sofa, playing on her phone. He politely explained, "Sorry, there's someone I like. I don't want her to misunderstand."

"Fine."

Sheng Qianzi turned on her heel and left without hesitation, swearing never to see him again.

She had no idea that in the months that followed, the man would be like a lost soul, tossing and turning as he went crazy wondering where she was.

After three months away filming, Sheng Qianzi returned to find someone had moved into the empty apartment next door. She heard it was one of the households downstairs moving up, but she wasn't sure.

At last, one day, she saw the man step out of his apartment. He calmly explained, "The view is nice here..."

"..."

"I can see you."
