I'm not into power-trip stories. I prefer traditional stories where the characters struggle to get through life. For romance, I like couples who dote on each other. Background characters and Mary Sues are a hard no. Some popular picks, some hidden gems. Updated whenever.

I'll add more gradually. I need to learn from my mistakes, TAT. One-, two-, and five-star ratings are overrepresented, so there are fewer two-star picks. Most of the three-star novels here aren't truly worth three stars. (Very few were added before they were complete.)
Strong Bottoms / Ordinary-Person Bottoms / Handsome Bottoms / Infinite Flow, and More
No delicate, helpless beautiful bottoms, no overly idealized bottoms. Most of the bottoms have fairly normal personalities. I like snarky bottoms, strong bottoms, short-tempered handsome bottoms, and tops who feel nonhuman or vividly alive.

Mostly stories with a gong protagonist. My one true preference is a gong who dotes on a well-behaved shou, and that takes priority over everything else. I probably prefer strong gong/weak shou > strong/strong > weak gong/strong shou, though I hardly ever read the last type
