Before the Stars Fall

[A Slightly Unconventional Story, Read with Caution]

-

At the school gala, Xu Rang was forced to go onstage and sing "Glory."

The dazzling lights overhead shone down as he softly sang the first line: "Thank you for giving me glory."

The applause thundered below, but in that moment, Xu Rang caught sight of Bai Li through a gap in the lights.

She was wearing a red dress, sitting in the audience and applauding gently. Everything around her faded into the background.

"I think I must be crazy to have fallen for Bai Li."

*Before the stars came down, I had never seen such brilliance.

Reading notes:

1. Probably a bad boy x bad girl story, a laid-back young heir x a resilient wild rose. This is an unconventional coming-of-age story full of angst! A whole basin of melodrama. Both leads have had lots of relationships, but they're also each other's firsts (they dated frivolously during high school).

2. Primarily set in the city, primarily in the city! The school scenes are scattered memories! I swear on my life this has a happy ending!!! It'll be sweet.

3. The main text takes precedence for the setting. The title comes from the Japanese song "Before the Stars Came Down."
