I Have a Romance for You

It's no secret that the students from No. 3 High and No. 2 High don't get along. There are only two schools around here, after all, so of course they're always at each other's throats.

But on the morning just before the holidays, a student from No. 2 High planted a kiss on the lips of a student from No. 3 High on his way to school.

The kind that drew blood...

Scene One:

When Ling Xi from No. 3 High finds out that Gu Heng from No. 2 High, the guy who kissed him, has been cornered by students from his school, he goes to play the hero and rescue the beauty.

In the alley where they meet to fight.

"See the wound on my lip? He bit me," Ling Xi says, pointing at Gu Heng. "Don't believe me? He's got the same one."

The dumbfounded crowd looks at Ling Xi's lips, then Gu Heng's, and feels like their eyes are about to go blind.

Scene Two:

Everyone: "Ling Xi, stop right there! You're a damn liar!"

Ling Xi grabs Gu Heng's hand and runs, shouting, "I'm really not lying! He really is my wife!"

Everyone: "We don't believe you! Prove it! Don't run!"

Ling Xi drags Gu Heng all the way into a dead-end alley and can't help rolling his eyes at the sky.

There's no way out.

The crowd blocking the alley entrance: "Kiss him, and we'll believe you."

Ling Xi looks at Gu Heng's lips, steels himself, stomps his foot, and plants a kiss on him.

Everyone: Who am I? Where am I? Mom, I'm blind!

After the kiss, Ling Xi lifts his head and whispers in Gu Heng's ear, "Now we're even."

Then he dusts himself off and strolls out of the alley.

"Wait. Stop there. Don't move. We need to talk," Gu Heng says.

"About what?" Ling Xi turns around.

"About dating," Gu Heng says.

The next book is "After the Dog Chewed Up the Love Letter"

It's no secret in the esports scene that Shi Xu and Lin Siyue are a terrible match.

During an esports variety show, their coach puts them on the same team. It takes only a few days for them to have a fight, just as everyone expected.

The atmosphere in the conference room is awful. Shi Xu paces over to Lin Siyue and stops in front of him, his expression so cold it looks like he could punch Lin Siyue at any moment.

Just as Lin Siyue thinks the only way to settle this is with a fight, Shi Xu suddenly pulls a letter from his pocket and hands it to him.

It reads: Lin Siyue, I've liked you for a long time.

As Shi Xu's footsteps fade, Lin Siyue reads the brief confession and, after a moment, raises an eyebrow ever so slightly.

One day, a beautiful commentator from the esports scene shows up with her love letter for Shi Xu. "You're the only person in the scene who has any connection to Lin Siyue. Please, you have to give him this letter for me. Don't make me get down on my knees and beg you."

It's no trouble, Shi Xu thinks.

But while the idea is lovely, reality is cruel and emaciated. The dog at the team base chews up the love letter.

And wouldn't you know it, the signature gets chewed off.

That's one huge misunderstanding.
