[Western Crossover] King of the Law

Gaily bedight,

Dressed in finery,

A gallant knight,

A dashing knight,

In sunshine and in shadow,

Through radiant days and solemn nights,

Had journeyed long,

Had journeyed far,

Singing a song,

Humming a tune,

In search of Eldorado.

In search of the dreamland Eldorado.

(Edgar Allan Poe, "El Dorado")

This story is also known as "Mechanical Butterfly," "Gloria's Secret," "Please Sign for Your Flag," and "Dating Is Impossible. I'll Never Date in This Lifetime... I'm not, I haven't, so stop making things up about me!′_>``

■ The heroine is a disabled person in recovery.

■ The pairing is undecided. There are some personal favorites worked in, and I'm aiming for satisfying, feel-good moments while doing my best to keep everyone in character. Anyway, this isn't a serious crime procedural.

■ The story mainly features British TV shows, with a few American ones. It may involve Sherlock, Psychoville, Black Mirror, Orphan Black, Hannibal, and others. You can still enjoy it even if you haven't seen them.
