[Western Crossover] The Gold-Standard Cover-Up

Leona thinks there's something a little off about this world.

Her dad is a blue-skinned mutant god.

She's an elegant and easygoing scholar of love-triangle drama.

Her scumbag ex-boyfriend is both a magical troublemaker and a master of causing chaos.

She also has a STEM boyfriend who doesn't like basketball.

Apart from being rich, smart, and handsome, he's utterly ordinary.

"That's already pretty amazing, okay!"

"Even so, Order-aligned Neutral and Chaotic Good are never going to get a happy ending!"

Why is a centenarian beating people up in the street?

Why are superheroes constantly turning on each other?

Welcome to the legal affairs show Sexy Iron Man: Taking the Blame Online.

Here,

I want to tell you a story about Tony Stark:

His unchecked dependence on alcohol,

The hero armor he created,

His Superhero Registration Act,

The countless choices he had to face,

His dynasty, and its decline,

His pain, his weakness,

His obscurity, his desires,

And that shining heart of iron.

P.S.:

1. I'm taking on the 616 Iron Man. At the start of this story, apart from being firmly on the heroes' side, he can almost be seen as a complex and captivating villain (not really). Anyway, he's no good guy, so please don't look at this man through the same lens you use for Nini.

2. The title comes from Iron Man's solo comic, The Devil in the Bottle. That's right, the female lead is the bottle cap that symbolically seals the bottle, so you can call her Bottle, Cap, or Double Cap (happy-ending noises).

3. The plot is explained in great detail, so even readers who haven't read the comics can follow along.

4. I casually mixed in a few TV series because I need to make a living.
