The Devil Skips Work Today [Western Crossover]

[Notice Board:] Violetta is a demon who's sick of work. For thousands of years, she's worked herself to the bone for Hell's GDP, pulling all-nighters and doing bad deeds, but there's not even a hint of a promotion. She'd be better off on Earth, pretending to be a pampered princess with a princess complex, doted on by her father and waiting for him to feed her. Life is easy and delightful. Violetta: I want some fresh Russian little butterfly dragons. Some CEO: No problem. I'll have them flown in alive. Some ninety-year-old World War II veteran: For you, I'd be willing to return to the Arctic. Some fast-running boy: If you want, I'll personally take you to Russia. It'll only take a moment! With you slacking off like this, aren't you worried your boss Lucifer will come looking for you? Violetta: Playing with superheroes and supervillains is a great way to rack up work credits, okay?! This story was inspired by Terry Pratchett and Neil Gaiman's fantasy novel Good Omens. Sorry, I went back on my word and came back to write about superheroes again. Find me on Weibo: @HongHongHongJiangHua. Come say hi! This story will become a paid novel on June 6, a Wednesday. I'll post three chapters that day. I hope you'll support the legitimate edition. Muah~ [New Story Announcement] [Literature Crossover] Detective Mary A twenty-first-century girl, Mary, transmigrates to nineteenth-century Victorian England and discovers that her family is unusually complicated: The eldest sister is gentle and virtuous, and married a handsome rich man. The second sister is independent and clever, and married a super-handsome billionaire. The youngest is innocent and carefree, and was tricked into eloping by a good-looking fool of an army officer. The fourth sister is stubbornly deluded, still fantasizing that she'll meet a fool of an army officer herself. Elizabeth, now Mrs. Darcy, is deeply worried: What will happen to her two remaining sisters, especially the third, Mary? She's plain-looking and a bookworm. What if some rake tricks her? Mary puffs out her chest: Don't worry, Second Sister. The man I love is erudite and has a strong sense of justice. He's also the cleverest man in all of England, and unbelievably sexy. Ordinary men don't interest me at all! Far away in London, Mr. Sherlock Holmes sneezes violently. ??? The weather's a little cold. Better get back to solving cases. Theme:
