I On the day gloomy Cen Jin dropped out of school, a recruitment flyer on a utility pole outside the school caught his eye. So he signed up for the entrance exam at the third-rate technical school advertised on it. No exam required. Only after enrolling, hoping to coast through and get a diploma, did Cen Jin discover what they taught there: how to slay gods! II Three rules for new students: 1. Never trust the gods. 2. If you encounter something strange, such as a god of death, and your call for help fails, take action: negotiate, attack, contain, and kill. Keep going until one of you dies. 3. Confess with all your heart, and pray for the gods’ favor. “...” To stay alive, Cen Jin swallowed his embarrassment and had no choice but to make an earnest, impassioned confession to the gods. It wasn’t until a freshman tournament and exchange event, when his life was hanging by a thread, that he confessed in front of everyone and drew the compassion of a hundred thousand gods. Only then did he realize he’d received a joke version of the new student handbook, and the person he’d confessed to was above the hundred thousand gods. III On the day the freshman tournament and exchange event erupted into chaos, students and teachers all over the world watched as a hundred thousand gods answered the call and arrived. In perfect unison, they shouted to the unremarkable, blond gloomy guy in the middle of the crowd: “Wife, come cuddle!” There was no way to fix a scene like that without leaving Earth.
