(Tutor) Drowning Alice

Side A, Elena

I once longed for warmth, because warmth had left me.

I once longed for freedom, because freedom had abandoned me.

I crossed this boundless night, thinking I could once again embrace the sparks that had long since faded away.

But from then on, not a glimmer of light ever shone again. I was the only ruler.

Side B, Diamond

I resent being human. Why must I be so insignificant?

I resent being a woman. Why must I be so fragile?

I resent being born without any talent, unable to protect even the things that matter most to me.

If time could turn back, I would only wish to become a ruler.

Even if I became powerful, I might not be able to hold on to everything,

but if I am not powerful enough, I will be unable to hold on to anything.
