Hideto Izu's Secret [Anime Crossover + DC]

[Blurb, provisional]

For the ninety-ninth time since I was reborn, I choose to leave Seisho without looking back and throw myself into the entertainment industry.

Goodbye, giraffe! Underclassmen, go play without me. A wider universe of stars and seas is waiting for me to conquer!

The day I walk out of Seisho Academy, a pixel game called "Gotham Adventure Simulator" suddenly appears on my phone. The System waves a hand and sets the players a small goal: conquer Gotham City within 70 days, spread your reputation to every corner of the night, become an investor in the Justice League, and start from scratch to build a Watchtower and a fully automated "Peace with the World" observatory for monitoring, defending, and counterattacking threats from outer space.

Me: ...?

No, when I said I'd conquer the stars and seas... I meant I was planning to use capital and force to acquire DGP. I didn't mean I wanted to knock Batman off his perch as DC's sugar daddy and take the throne myself!!

I really don't have that kind of ambition!

[Yes, you do.]

The cunning System sounds like it's mocking me. Since when did I ever have that ambition? I've just lived too long and witnessed Batman's debut firsthand, so I'm pretty attached to DC! Even if the current New Earth comics are a complete mess, it's been so many years! I just can't stop missing the Justice League at its peak!

[Yes, you do.]

Damn it, I don't! What gives the System the right to say I do? A pixel game doesn't understand people's hearts!

[You do.]

...I said the System doesn't understand, not that I don't, damn it!

Damn it, this pixel game, where all you can do is tap out dialogue, is a stupid AI. There's no way to communicate with it!

Note:

This story has the exclusive tag #Polar Star and Night Rain for Fox Girl.

Fox Girl has a femme fatale, ghostly vibe. Her background and behavior differ somewhat from the little fox next door.

This is a story about the Bat Family's bonds. There are male love interests, but I haven't decided who yet.

Theme: My very existence is a miracle
