Cross-Dressing as a Man Was Never My Choice

Lydia, who disguises herself as a man, is once again sneaking around the royal palace in the capital today under her brother Onion's name.

Lydia thinks Tattle, the capital's chief magician, is incredibly cool and amazing.

He always wears the white robe of a magician's uniform. His lips are perpetually pressed into a straight line, and his ruby-red eyes are utterly indifferent. His whole face says "no desire, no disturbance."

Reliable enough to be worth befriending.

He's just as he appears: cold, meticulous, and methodical.

That impression lasted until one night, when he pinned her shoulders and shoved her against the wall.

His red eyes swirled with a fog of inexplicable emotions.

The great magician of the capital lowered his voice and, in a tone both conflicted and resigned, forcefully declared his love for her.

...Excuse me?

Dude, are you into guys?

Sorry, I only see you as a brother.

[Announcement: The story will go premium on December 17. There will be three updates totaling ten thousand characters that day. Thank you for your support, mwah.]

Reading Guide:

① A magic-world setting, with both leads maxed out from the start.

② Not a traditional fantasy world. Original settings everywhere.

③ The tired old girl-disguised-as-a-boy trope. No logic, no brains, fluffy nonsense.
