The Deepwood Witch's Office

Coming soon: “A Witch's Ghost-Hatching Journal” To escape a career she disliked and find her own sense of purpose, the witch Luo Lin finally said what she wanted during the wish-making ceremony at her seventeenth birthday hat ceremony: “I want to move into the deep forest for a while.” After holding firm to her wish, Luo Lin, a witch who had never passed her broom-flying test, changed vehicles three times before finally riding a bumpy tractor to move into the forest where her ancestors had lived. Even though the entire wizarding community took pride in leaving the backward forest behind and integrating into human society, Luo Lin remained steadfast in her choice. But an accidental discovery made her worldview crumble bit by bit. These were marvelous creatures born in this place alongside her ancestors: Beastfolk with two forms, small and adorable elves, and powerful, rare fairies. Not only that, every strange creature in the forest had a strong, stereotypical impression of her. “Witch who has returned to the forest! Just like your ancestors, accept this rose and help me fulfill my wish.” Luo Lin: “We've changed careers ages ago.” The forest had waited many years for the young witch to return. Now that she was taking up her ancestors' old profession, she would bring new stories to the forest. Theme: Keep growing and embrace a happy life
