Dreams: Su Jinniang

This is less a blurb than the source of my inspiration.

One day, this silly author read a story on Weibo about the trafficking of women. I think it was called A Woman's Journey Out of the Mountains. Around the same time, I watched a movie with my roommate about a woman and several men on a small island. The movie was called Bedevilled. Both the Weibo story and the movie moved me deeply. Then, one day, I dreamed of a poor girl who married into another village, was treated terribly, and eventually turned dark. I thought about it for a long time before deciding to write it down. My writing is as bad as ever, though. Well, the story is about love and human nature, things I don't really understand myself. I hope this short story will touch you in some way, though my writing probably isn't good enough.

One important thing must be said: this author refuses to discuss life. If you don't like it, click the X in the upper-right corner.
