After Zhao Mouli Put on Glasses

Blurb One

When she puts on her glasses, all she sees is desolation. A ruined city, deserted streets, towers that reach into the clouds, the stench of decay hanging in the air, dead bodies, and gloomy clouds spread across the sky. The alarm keeps blaring, too.

When she takes off those thin lenses, she sees bustling streets and a peaceful world, the smile of the person she loves, and endless splendor and neon lights.

In reality, within an illusion.

Blurb Two

Her name is Zhao Xiuli. Xiuli means elegant and beautiful. But Zhao Xiuli looks nothing like what those words suggest. She has short, messy hair, sun-reddened skin covered in freckles, heavy dark circles, and a little belly that exercise just can't turn into abs...

Before she became a housewife, she was a food delivery driver. Before that, she delivered packages.

Now she's back to her old job. Sitting on her little electric scooter 5.0, she's about to deliver a package of new polymer energy to the insect race...

Couple: Zhao Xiuli x Liu Shuai

This is the story of how a woman from a small county town, raised with traditional values, changes step by step in a post-apocalyptic wasteland, awakens, and becomes an independent soul.

A bizarre work of futuristic interstellar post-apocalyptic wasteland fiction.

Well... My writing isn't very good. If you don't like it, just say goodbye. No need to make a point of saying so. And please, no flame wars.

Theme: After the long, cold night, the butterfly will eventually break through its thick cocoon.
