A Swordsman's Life Is Brief

A wandering swordswoman who sticks out like a sore thumb arrives in the town of Xia Jibai Dao, in the county of Hu Lielie, in the imaginary kingdom of Zixu.

Her arrival brings news to Madam Mei, who sells pork at shop 101.

Something big has happened in the martial world: someone has died by the Jinghong Blade.

And Madam Mei is the owner of the Jinghong Blade.

The swordswoman once broke her blade and retired from the martial world. To keep her peaceful life from being disturbed, she has no choice but to accept the wanderer's request and investigate the Jinghong Blade murder case.

As the investigation deepens, a secret buried in the past also comes to light.

A wuxia story with some mystery elements.

This is a no-romance story.

The heroine is simply a cold, solitary swordswoman.

The writing is nothing special. No catfights or tearing each other apart. If it's not to your taste, just say so and part on good terms.

Theme: Do not let life or yourself down.
