[Crossover] A Nonhuman Love Story in Yokohama

Primarily a Bungo Stray Dogs story. I only call it a crossover so people won't complain when I write fun little bits, saying, "Hey, that's not how things work in Bungo Stray Dogs!"

In an era where people with supernatural abilities are everywhere, monsters roam the streets, and Stands are a dime a dozen, a sea creature disguising herself as a human isn't that strange, right?

Agh!

The deep-sea girl, mermaid Nanami Mirai, inherited the fine qualities passed down by her ancestors. She fell in love with a human.

One day, the girl saved a boy who had fallen into the deep sea. To keep him from drowning, she gave him her own precious treasure.

But as a sea creature, a mermaid, filled with love and dreams (what the hell is with this shoujo-manga setting), she couldn't tell the man she loved that she was a mermaid. Otherwise, she would turn into sea foam.

Determined to see him again and live a happy life with the one she loved [censored], the deep-sea girl came to Yokohama and became...

A hugely popular idol.

(Come to think of it, this heroine is a sea creature too. Resting her chin in her hand.)

The heroine's setting is based on Mermaid Melody, a shoujo manga full of love and dreams. It was one of the shoujo manga that first awakened my girlish heart...

Pairing: Chuuya.

This should be a short story of a few tens of thousands of words. It won't be paywalled. Whether I abandon it is anyone's guess, since I have a mediocre track record.

My writing isn't great. I'm writing this out of love.

If you can't keep reading, let's part on good terms.

Theme: A sweet romance.
