When there's no ranking event, I'll try to update on holidays and weekends. When there is one, updates will depend on the word count.
Blurb One
Miss Lu isn't smart or pretty, and she lacks perseverance and determination. She's stubborn and timid, but she's certainly no ruthless figure who kills without hesitation. She has neither an impressive family background nor an exceptional spiritual root.
She's ordinary. She's thoroughly mediocre.
Perhaps others think Miss Lu's ideas are strange, but that doesn't change the fact that she's just one among the countless ordinary people.
What the world saw later was Lu Chi, the mad sword cultivator.
Few knew that Sword Cultivator Lu hadn't always been a crazed lunatic.
Lu Chi: Chaotic Good, bipolar, no conventional morals, determined never to fall to the demonic path.
The path of cultivation has seven stages: Dust Severing, Entering the Dao, Enlightenment, Mountain Shattering, Nirvana, Returning to the True, and Ascension.
Pairing: Lu Chi x the Masked Man.
Neither the heroine nor the man she's paired with is a virgin. Both have had past experiences. Readers with purity obsessions or who are uncomfortable with this, please don't read.
The heroine's name comes from the line, "The road ahead is long and far; I will seek high and low." The name of the man who takes the male lead's place in the spotlight (though he may not necessarily get much screen time) comes from, "In death, I know all things will be empty, but I grieve that the nine regions are not yet united."
Mu Chun is the second male lead who gets sent to the crematorium.
There are also some other characters and side pairings. I'll write them in as I think of them.
As usual, this is a plot-focused, emotionally devastating story with terrible prose. (You'll understand what I mean after a few chapters...)
Thank you for liking it. Sending love.
Every comment and bookmark is what keeps this lazy writer going.
Since my writing isn't very good, if you like it, please bookmark it. If you don't... let's just part ways...
At first, the title was Sword Cultivator's Self-Cultivation. I wasn't happy with the opening, so I rewrote the outline and decided to change the title while rewriting. Then it became Why Is This Sword Cultivator So Shameless (Not Really). I still wasn't satisfied, so I changed it to Why Is This Sword Cultivator Like This. Still not satisfied, I changed it again and again, until it became Lu Chi.
Theme: Keep smiling and keep living.
