Psyche: Stop. Wait a moment. Let me go burn some incense first.

Psyche entered the temple of the goddess of love and beauty and asked to become her priestess.

The goddess granted Psyche's request. In return, Psyche had to give up forever the possibility of loving or being loved.

Psyche: Just what I wanted. Dating in the world of Greek mythology? Let it all burn.

System: ??... Unknown fatal error detected. Mythology Romance Achievement System shutting down.

Psyche got her wish and settled into the quiet life of a priestess, eating her fill and waiting for death.

That is, until the original targets set by the romance system appeared by her side.

As the God of Love and Desire, Eros was capricious and cruel, taking pleasure in toying with the feelings of mortals.

He believed love was nothing more than the effect of the golden arrows in his hand. While lovesick men and women went mad with passion, he remained a relaxed spectator.

That is, until he met Psyche.

Eros should have helped the goddess punish Psyche, a mortal who dared defy divine authority.

But by the time he came to his senses, he had already protected her, covered for her, and done every foolish thing a lover would do.

The most ironic part was that Psyche did not love him.
