Working as a Cafeteria Lady at Stark Tower

Su Pingle, the Kitchen God, a little deity every household needs, is sent to New York on assignment. She thought it would be an easy job. Her plan is to open a little restaurant and keep a low profile, occasionally listening to her worshippers' wishes and granting them luck when appropriate. Judging by the family's character, she'll write an email to the Jade Emperor. What she doesn't know is that opening her restaurant in the Stark Building is a mistake in itself. Inside the cafeteria, the superheroes start fighting whenever they disagree. Outside the cafeteria, aliens are always trying to invade Earth. Su Pingle: I just want to cook in peace. Is that so hard? Then she hears her worshippers' wish: May there be world peace. Su Pingle decides she can't keep sitting around waiting for things to happen. She has to get to the root of all this conflict. There's nothing a hot pot, roujiamo, braised pork, beef noodles, guobaorou, or poached spicy fish can't solve! What? That's not enough? We've still got roast duck, roast chicks, roast goslings... Feed the villains until they're all chubby, so they have no time to argue. Then world peace will be a piece of cake. So let Chinese cuisine change your destiny! A crossover between the Marvel universe and Chinese mythology (with plenty of artistic license). Second version of the blurb, January 2, 2023.
