Cuncun's Personal BL Favorites
Mm-hmm.
Input
Books that make me think, that I want to read and discuss.
Adorable Stories
Gems with a conscience, novels I personally think are truly worth reading. Any genre and any orientation, though mostly BL.
All Read and Bookmarked
Currently fully subscribed to 54 books. Six don’t require full subscription. I did fully subscribe, so why am I only C rank?
Five Stars
All kinds of genres, with great writing and interesting stories.
BL | Open to All Kinds (Completed Happy-End Stories)
If you don’t read a bit of everything, stay away. This list is an extremely complicated mix with unpredictable preferences, though I’d say I lean toward stories focused on the protagonist. Anything might show up except excessive genderbending of male characters and tops who are weak in bed.
My Reread Treasures (Danmei With a Bottom Protagonist)
Books I consider top-tier and endlessly enjoyable. (Weird, why is the list order all mixed up?) (Some are marked tentative because I want to reread them.)
Great Completed Novels
I’ll try a bit of everything, meaning all pairings and orientations. Plot and characterization come first, and I prefer happy endings. I limit the number of five-star ratings, so everything gets four stars
Modern Era
Modern-day settings, marked BG or BL. Danmei, romance, school life, workplace, esports, mystery, etc.
BL Stories Set in the Entertainment Industry
The protagonists are creative professionals, such as writers, painters, screenwriters, directors, actors, singers, idols, film crew members, assistants, and so on
Content Warning List 2
A place to share some gossip I've come across
My Repeatedly Read Pure-Love List
All the things I love to read.
Reading Log
I read everything, across all genres
Timeless Classics
Good old-school stories, though some may feel dated.
Relationship-Focused Stories
Well-written stories where the romance is the main plot
Nine - Consistency
Former title: Cover Consistency
Mid-Autumn Moon Viewing: The Hens' Special
Too bad The Youngest and Breaking the Jar and Giving Up got taken down. I absolutely adore Geng Xiaojie, that little snail. The Flirtatious Little A Dou is great too~
Great Reads
Good read
Modern BL Without Fantasy Elements
As the title says, urban slice-of-life, school life, showbiz, and so on. No supernatural or fantasy elements like being reborn, transmigrating, or encountering ghosts.
Boys' Love Showbiz Stories
Lately, I've just been enjoying handsome movie stars
A Lu's 2024 Year-End Reading Recap
This is really just a personal roundup of my time on Jinjiang. I remember it clearly: one day in March 2023, I got hooked on Welcome to the Nightmare Live, and I was so happy.
The Best of Every Genre, in My Opinion
Full story subscription
A Cinnabar Mole Beside White Jade Light
Books you can reread over and over.

2025.8.11 11:09 Finished spreading flowers! I don't regret clicking in! Lu Zhou and Xiao Yi are two special people who seem particularly loved in JJ. They are so close in our lives. The protagonist who is imperfect, the protagonist who has ups and downs, the protagonist who talks dirty words like diaosi, the protagonist who works from the bottom to the top, the protagonist who slowly gets along and fights side by side... When the moon is full, it will lose money, when it is small, it will gain, that's all. All labels on the Internet have lost their meaning here. This is a breathing world story 10/110
When will Hen be able to write another book like this? I really like it. Now I always watch the drama and I'm a little tired of it, although it's still very interesting.
One swipe is over! ! ! [Fireworks][Fireworks] Let us congratulate this young couple! [][] (Probably I read Mr. Ji's article too late. When I saw "3G", it still felt like I was in another world...
Perfect. When I was in elementary school, I devoured this book without feeling anything. When I read it in college, I was very moved.
I was only in my early thirties at the beginning, but I was 40 at the end [crying] I couldn't even find a car [crying]
The old article is still written in a flavorful way [Spread Flowers][Spread Flowers][Spread Flowers]
No, why is the last chapter also locked? [Crying]
Ending with flowers~~~What a sweet story~~ Actually, I personally feel that the writing itself is not particularly skillful, but the ideas, twists, and characters are very vivid and interesting! I hope you go on as you wish.
It's great to be able to shine on the screen again after ten years of absence from movies. I also hope that all talented people will not be let down and will eventually gain something.
Classic works are just different👍
