Love That Aches

[Author’s Note] 1. I wrote this book in 2008, when I was still in school and in my teens. I had no romantic experience, and I loved writing old-fashioned, melodramatic romances full of breakups and makeups, where misunderstandings were forced into the story even when there weren’t any. What I originally wanted to write was a story where the seme had once been attracted to Lin Wei and Ye Jingwen, but eventually realized that Wei Teng was his true love. However, because my writing skills were so poor at the time, my descriptions fell short and I handled things badly, so I failed to convey that feeling. That was my fault, and I admit it. I’m very sorry for giving my longtime readers a disappointing reading experience. 2. How I’m making amends: ※The whole book has been revised, the characterization has been made consistent, and the disputed plotlines have been rewritten. ※Refunds are available indefinitely: Anyone who subscribed to either Stomachache or Weiwei can leave a comment under either book requesting a refund, and I’ll send double the amount in a red packet. If you don’t want to leave a comment, you can also send a screenshot of your subscription history to my Weibo account, @Jinjiang Diezhiling, in a private message. 3. This is an old-fashioned, melodramatic story I wrote as an immature teenager. If you have issues with the book, please raise them here and don’t attack the innocent protagonists of my new stories. I won’t respond to any further arguments about this book. Please don’t stir things up using screenshots from pirate sites. The Jinjiang edition is the definitive version. I bow in thanks.
