Some Hidden Gems, But High Quality
The kind of quality writing that suits my tastes
A Mixed Reading List of Completed Novels
For easy rereading, and to share recommendations. Five- and four-star reads, including original works and fanfiction. (BL, straight romance, and no romance.)
Notes on Stories I Like
Not made to cater to particular preferences, just genuinely good reads. Updates are slow because great novels are rare. All are BG with sexually inexperienced male leads. Vast worldbuilding, queenly female protagonists, gorgeous prose, and light romance
Books With Few Chapters Requiring Coins
For task completion. Lots of food-themed novels, some with chapters that cost just one or a few coins. A bit of everything. Monthly subscription only, children's literature doesn't count.
One-Coin Chapter Event 1.0
For an event only. They're all rated four stars because of rating restrictions, which doesn't reflect my actual opinions. Some cost 2 coins. I've excluded monthly subscription books and children's literature. There's also a 2.0 list.
Don't Subscribe
If it has illustrations, you can get some water drops. This is just ridiculous, I’m so done with it.
Subscription Event: Chapter 1, 1 Jinjiang Coin
Includes chapters available for subscription at 1 coin, with a few at 2–3 coins. Can be used for subscription activities on Jinjiang. Various pairings, no content warnings provided. For activity subscriptions only, so please check for anything you want to avoid yourself.

Beautifully Written Books by My Favorite Authors
Books I’ve read over and over and still think have amazing writing
One-Coin Chapters
Buying VIP chapters to complete event tasks. The stories are told from either the female or male lead’s perspective, and the extras cost one or two coins. Good for anyone who doesn’t have a book in mind but needs to buy VIP chapters to finish an event task.
For Tasks (Few Coins)
One coin, few coins, mostly in the bonus chapters
Hidden Gems from a Decade-Long Reader, Ongoing
I mainly recommend high-quality novels that I think deserve more readers, both plot-driven and romance-driven. I'm a female-protagonist fan, but I can't guarantee these meet today's standards for being women-loving.
Highly Recommended: Strong Female Leads and Plot-Driven Feel-Good Stories, Part 1
My booklist is full, but I have another list in my profile: "Completed Works, Fully Purchased." I prefer feel-good stories to Mary Sue stories. I'd rather become strong than be loved by someone strong, and I prefer talented supporting heroines to fighting for favor.
Hidden Gems (Check the Star Ratings for Recommendations)
A girl's journey in another world
My Personal List of Great Reads
There's probably a little of everything here, so read at your own risk. No preaching, starting with me.
My Top Recommendations Aren't Here
Romance and danmei alike.
Female Leads, Go for It!
Women should focus on building their careers
Temporary Reading List: Futuristic Sci-Fi Games
Clearing out my collection. Future sci-fi and gaming. I may not have read all of these. Stories with female protagonists.
Interstellar Stories with Strong Heroines Worth Rereading
High-quality space-themed stories.
Books Already Used for Events
Books I've already used for garden tasks and event tasks.
My Favorites
I have eclectic tastes and read just about everything. My preferences have also changed subtly as I've gotten older.
