To cut to the chase: Jiang Zhi, a top food streamer, transmigrated.
The bad news: Her situation from the start was dire. She was a poor orphan girl in a remote ancient town.
Jiang Zhi thought: But looking at it another way, isn't that good news?
An orphan girl in ancient times? No problem. That makes it easier to avoid giving myself away.
Broke? Jiang Zhi figured that was just a tiny problem!
A remote town? No problem. She'd build her food empire right here!

At some point, a local from Shu who had come along to show out-of-town visitors around was introducing the local delicacies when they suddenly realized their hometown had somehow stopped being a food desert.
Can't find a good breakfast?
Just get in line outside Jiang's Eatery. New treats show up inside all the time:
Soft, pillowy cloud cakes; lychee buns, browned on the outside with a molten filling; little dumplings, crisp on the bottom and juicy and springy in every bite...
Hungry at lunchtime?
As long as Jiang's Eatery is open, the locals of Shu say there's no need to worry!
Spicy, savory roast duck; juicy little wontons; braised pork trotter rice bursting with flavor; lamb chops covered in cumin...
There's nothing the owner can't make, only things you haven't tried yet!
And dinner?
Jiang's little eatery may close for the evening, but the locals of Shu know a secret.
Just pick a spot at the night market ahead of time and wait!
Every day, the owner surnamed Jiang brings different delicious dishes to her stall!
Fried rice, stir-fried rice noodles, skewers...
Out-of-towners, envious after eating: So you have all three meals a day covered, huh?
Locals of Shu, suddenly realizing: Seems like we do!

Jiang Zhi, the biggest winner behind the scenes, said nothing as she smiled and counted the money in her hands.
She'd said it before: being broke was just a small problem! Her food empire was going to begin in this era!
As Boss Jiang contentedly counted her money, a furry head poked out from behind her and rubbed against her affectionately. He gazed at her with eyes she could never resist and pleaded,
"So, Boss Jiang, when is the man behind Boss Jiang finally getting an official title?"

Liu Zhu spent the first half of her life scraping by on the internet. Then one day, she transmigrated and became an orphan girl with nowhere to go.
There was nothing for it. First, she needed to find somewhere that would feed and house her so she could scrape by.
As Liu Zhu thought this, she suddenly spotted a job advertisement from the Imperial College.
Her eyes lit up at once.

The students at the Imperial College had suffered under that awful canteen for ages.
Every day, all they got was moldy flatbread and a bowl of broth as thin as water,
and they charged more than twenty copper coins for it!
It was outright fraud!
Just then, the Imperial College suddenly hired a new female cook.
Someone went to try a meal, still unconvinced.
On the first day, the steamed egg custard was so tender it seemed to drip!
On the second day, the chicken was fragrant and perfectly browned!
On the third day, the fruit juice was sweet and tart!
By day N, as soon as classes ended at the Imperial College, everyone raced to the canteen, sat down in neat rows, and stared at the female cook with sparkling eyes.
The former cook at the Imperial College even bowed down before her:
"How come we have all the same seasonings, but yours always smells better? I want to be your apprentice."
Liu Zhu smiled mysteriously:
"Come on, this is a secret technique I learned back when I was making a living on the internet!"
Reading guide:
1. A heroine who cooks by unorthodox methods × a male lead who teaches at the Imperial College.
If you want to win someone's heart, first win their stomach!
2. All the cooking methods in this story come from the internet. Thanks for reading!
