The Power of Magic

Ye Jia Heidlis is suddenly informed that he is engaged to the crown prince. Then his big brother gives him a false identity and throws him into the Magic and Martial Arts Academy to find true love, only for him to discover... Empress: Mr. Rhine Gade? I believe we need to talk... You do know His Highness is already engaged, don't you? Ye Jia: ...Engaged... Of course I know... Didn't you work it out with my mom? Background character (mocking): Rhine, even if you're feeling pleased with yourself now, don't forget that His Highness has a fiancée of noble birth and impeccable manners... Ye Jia: You're praising me to my face. You're going to make me blush. Mrs. Heidlis: My son may be a little slow, but at least he has a respectable identity... Ye Jia: Mom, is that any way to talk about your own son? Wait, that's not the point... The point is, QAQ Mom, you can't fail to recognize your own child! My big brother made up the fake identity. It has nothing to do with me! Crown Prince: Don't worry, I'll take care of the engagement. I only want you... Ye Jia: Please don't break off the engagement. I really mean it. This was my first story, and it's very immature. It was also limited by the era and my understanding at the time. Looking back, I was very young when I wrote it. Not only is the writing immature, but my ideas were immature too. I hope you'll read it critically and point out anything that needs correcting. Theme: Be an honest and upright person. Don't judge people by appearances alone.
