Traditional Western fantasy, an original world, and a serious, plot-driven story. The heroine is smart, levelheaded, and eager to learn, with an original combat profession.
Ten years ago, the people of Cladifa nearly wiped out the royal family of Ksayaol in a massacre. Ada, a commoner girl whose fate was changed by that catastrophe, is drawn once more into the war and conspiracies between the two most powerful nations on the continent ten years later.
As long-hidden ancient secrets are gradually revealed, Ada, a daughter of Ksayaol, comes to realize that the leaders of the two nations were not the ones behind all these tragedies. Nor was the Death Lord, defeated by the heroes of old, truly destroyed. The mastermind pulling the strings of both nations is still stirring, and stopping it will take more than one or two chosen saviors or heroes...
This is not a story about ordinary people waiting helplessly for a savior to arrive and rescue them. It is an epic about everyone fighting to survive in a turbulent age and struggling to achieve their goals.
Even the faintest starlight, gathered together, can become a brilliant galaxy.
P.S. The blonde, blue-eyed girl is the heroine. I drew the character designs on the cover myself and put them together. I placed her on the left to make the composition look better.
The story uses shifting points of view and follows a linear plot, with an ensemble cast. Important characters will not appear until later, and there are quite a lot of characters. Everyone in this world has their own story and life.
The worldbuilding has been carefully designed and planned in every detail, including the chronicle, maps, religions, languages, professions, factions, military forces, combat techniques, and character designs. The notes on the setting alone have reached 200,000 characters. (I even drew illustrations, but unfortunately I can't post them.)
There will be wars, political maneuvering, combat, and verbal sparring. I like writing clever people, to the best of my ability.
Because the story spans a long period of time, the characters will grow and change in their outlook. As the protagonist's circumstances change, the social standing of the people she meets will gradually change as well.
There was never an eagle soaring through the night by her side, only the soul of that eagle.
I will keep updating daily until the story is complete. The main story has ten volumes, and all of them are now finished.

Volume Two, "The Division of Royal Power": Complete

The story has undergone a major revision, and the plot has changed quite a bit. If you've read it before, you can treat it as a new story and start from the beginning.
Thank you to everyone who has read my work. Thank you for letting our thoughts cross paths, even if only for a moment. I believe this must be a special kind of fate!
● A note on what happens after the story ends:
1. Revisions: I may spend some time fixing minor issues throughout the story. Please bear with me if you receive frequent update notifications.
2. Extras: If I write any extras, they will definitely be bonus chapters. I may add them later, depending on the circumstances.
3. New stories: I'll take a break before deciding. Most likely, I'll start the one that's currently open for advance sign-ups, but the timing is still uncertain. I've been writing this story for a long time and need a good rest. I also need to build up ideas and prepare before starting a new one.
In short, thank you all so much for reading! I hope you enjoy the story!
● This story will go on sale on Wednesday, September 13. Chapters 28-224 are the discounted backlist, so please don't buy them again if you've already read them.
● After it goes on sale, I'll post three chapters in a row. Thank you all for your continued support!
● Thank you! *bows*
● Coming soon: Western fantasy, "The Golden Throne" (BG). Condensed blurb:
From a leatherworker's daughter to the Trade Queen who controls the lifeblood of the continent's economy.
She is not only a trading genius, but also carries within her the soul of an ancient queen well-versed in politics.
Money becomes power, and power brings wealth.
In her own way, she will rebuild her great empire.
She lends money to the king, issues currency, funds armies, and takes part in diplomacy.
People say, "The king does what he can, while Erica Tanner does what she wants."
Jealousy breeds hatred, but no one can topple her when she holds countless cards in her hand.
She is a one-of-a-kind business genius, the true king of trade.
Theme: Accept who you are, even if you refuse to settle for an ordinary life. No matter how cruel the world may be, hope still lies ahead. Anti-war.
After thinking about it, I decided to post a longer comment here (although it won't go anywhere).
Maybe imperfection is the mainstream of life. For most of the important characters in this article, they fight for their respective positions and make choices because of their different positions and their own true intentions. Being led closer and farther away by fate, they meet and then go in opposite directions, composing a story that belongs only to themselves.
Maybe this is the interesting thing about fate, everyone is trying their best, even if the final result is like meteors intersecting. For the male and female protagonists, I feel that their lifelong companionship may not necessarily be the best ending. Ada cannot abandon her country and what she really wants to protect to become the queen. Lemo also chose to fulfill this after clearly understanding this. There are many things in this world that are more important than love.
Mrs. Nighthawk, this name probably destined Ada to be more suitable to be an eagle flying in the sky - her soul is free, and her body can go wherever she wants to go with the wind. No longer close, it is another kind of fulfillment and protection. In a sense, they will always be the best of each other in each other's hearts. Even if they are separated, they will never change, and they will not be imprisoned or otherwise compromised. The last bit of love will be eroded away.
The most accurate description I can think of is probably the inertia of fate. Even if this article does not achieve high collections and success in the mainstream cognitive sense, I feel that as a reader, I have met many people who exist in another world through this article. I have watched their lives and watched them interpret their own stories in the words. This is probably the meaning of an article - to lead everyone to another world. I have never regretted coming to Stemo Continent, where I met Ada and Lemo, as well as countless characters related to them and intersecting with them.
Another point is usually about the wife herself. I have been an old reader of Lujiang more than ten years ago. At that time, the holographic online game channel was still quite popular, and I was still a junior high school student who didn't know much about these.
It was also under such an opportunity that I read the article about Realm of Gods. At that time, the article was still being serialized, and I didn't use the reader account I have now, but I still read from the beginning to the end. Maybe now that I think about it, some of the settings do reflect the rich Mary Sue that was popular at that time, but I still like the characters created in that novel, and the obsessions and pursuits that have remained unchanged throughout the past and present lives.
It was almost because of my wife that I decided to try writing on my own. Even though I have never written anything particularly good, and I have never gained anything from writing, I have always felt that the birth of writing is already a success. Maybe someone will see something between the lines that the author really wants to express to the readers, or someone may have come quietly but left no trace. But in any case, just like the characters in the book meet and separate, so it is with the author and the reader in reality, leaving traces for each other during their brief encounter.
Finally, I would like to say Merry Christmas again and see you again.
Finally finished reading it! ! What a long novel. The author has great control over the plot!
The setting of the squire learning lowly magic is amazing, and it goes very well with the idea of drawing ordinary people into the legendary story and seeing other poor ordinary people. The most rare thing is that the author really wrote "kindness and kindness are the most powerful powers of human beings" into the plot. These qualities that may have only worked through specific magic in the past have really become the fire that makes the world warm, and really pushed an ordinary (already ordinary) girl like Ada to become Mrs. Nighthawk. I used to think that kindness was rare, that the Holy Sword would turn into a goldfinger, or that Ada's squire skills would turn into a goldfinger... But in the end it wasn't the case. It is the fact that there are so many people who have kind qualities and recognize the value of kindness that is the biggest golden finger of this article. Ordinary people are united by this vision, and Ada just happens to be further ahead. How wonderful.
I also like the arrangement of the emotional line. I felt suffocated during the days when Ada lived in the palace. Lemo never regarded her as a person with the ability to participate in the game, and he never thought of bringing her into the battlefield of intrigue. This reminds me of Queen Hill. Although Queen Hill still studies attendant studies in the palace and has helped many people, I still feel sad for her. The free Hill may have a more exciting life... So when Ada was in the palace, she realized that Lemo might just regard her as another Queen Hill. He covered her eyes, blocked her ears, locked her in the palace and did not even want her to know the news about her motherland. And even aside from her identity as Mrs. Nighthawk, Ada is a very good person and is a precious person who should not just be a vase. Fortunately they separated! Fortunately, Ada decided to separate! ! ! I'm unobstructed.
Thank you to the author for giving me such a good reading experience! !
Seriously comment, I was attracted to this post when I saw the tweet on xhs, and it turned out to be a really good piece of work! This is a style rarely seen in JJ. The author is generous in writing for each character. Even a small villain and supporting character has his own ending (I am talking about you, the beast master). The foreshadowing laid in the previous article will be taken back bit by bit. It is very comfortable to watch! The most surprising thing is that each character has his own position and bottom line, and has persistence that will not change for anyone, nor will he make concessions for the emotional line. Some characters are completed as soon as they appear, making people curious about what they have experienced. Some characters are unfinished, making people look forward to their transformation and growth. There are so many favorite characters in more than 700 chapters! Overall, this is a rare work. I look forward to the author's new work!
Happy birthday, my brother is really a good person. [Cake][cake][cake]
Perhaps he was studying the coexistence of consciousness after death and the phantom beast, and the existence of the consciousness of physical death. Wei Lun later brought the notes to Yesa, so he was certain that his brother could finally exist in the form of a phantom beast, but what about Grayson's consciousness that was already there?
Although Ada and Lemo are not together, the choices they made are really in line with their characters. There is no forced HE. It is very comfortable to watch hahaha (although I was a little sad to see Lemo die at the end)
Kesayol has long been nothing but an empty shell. Evolution with new blood is not a bad thing...
After reading it, I really like the author's description of companionship and comradeship! Of course, such young and outstanding girls and boys have to work hard to shine on their ideal path, so why not fall in love! (You still have to talk about love)
I love you so much. I stayed up late and read my favorite novel. I feel so empty now.
I suddenly found out that the extra chapter was updated [poor] and I was deeply moved by the friendship between the three of them.
