[Synopsis]

Of all the movies out there,

Lin Yan likes horror movie actors best and hates horror movies most.

As the saying goes, you can't have both good looks and a good plot. No one understands horror movies better than she does.

Then again...

Spiritual qi revival unleashes all kinds of bizarre monsters, and urban legends spring up everywhere.

The Horror Movie Escape System even locks onto Lin Yan, a woman versed in the occult but devoted to science.

The young woman stammers through tears. Lin Yan speaks earnestly, her expression full of compassion. Then she pulls out three cat-head stickers and firmly slaps them over the hand struggling to grip the pen.

"Boss, have you heard about that treasure in the shop across the street..."

"Don't wanna hear it. Shut up. Stay put."

Her underling hesitates, then tries again. Lin Yan raises a hand and blurs the background.

Across the street? What street? There's no street over there!

"Yanyan, it's Halloween! Masks! A ball! Aren't you curious..."

"Not curious. Not dressing up. The boss knows I can't dance."

Lin Yan firmly declines her coworker's invitation, then flips on a filter and joins the ranks of the Halloween monsters.

Pale. Pale is good.

Official actress Lin: Just passing through. No going off alone. Don't call me into the shot.

But Lin Yan never dreamed that her bizarre, argumentative way of barging into movies would go viral on the monster forum as a "best moments compilation."

As she takes over the horror movie viewing section,

she also gets a CP who loves butting into her business and claims to be her fan.

Lin Yan: You're not human, are you?

Fang Chunyi: ...QwQ

Lin Yan: .

In the end, the monster forum sends its first-ever invitation to a human guest to attend a horror movie premiere.
