The Eerie NPC Was Kept as a Pet by Players

Fu Qiao died at seventeen and came back to life, but not in the real world. He woke up inside a Western horror survival game.

As an NPC in a terrifying game, Fu Qiao diligently did his job of scaring the players.

What Fu Qiao didn’t know was that all the players in Heaven had heard a beautiful young man from the East had appeared in the new level. They pretended to be frightened by him, then bullied him right back.

The next time the players bullied Fu Qiao, he decided to die. But someone saved him.

The players seemed to call that man King.

-

It took Fu Qiao only three seconds to accept that he was a monster, not a human.

But accepting that he was to be Kui Duo’s personal monster took him a whole day.

He had no idea why the game’s strongest player had chosen him as a pet.

Maybe he really was a pet?

Fu Qiao sat on Kui Duo’s forearm, his slender white arms wrapped around the bloodstained neck of the man as he gazed down at the Boss kneeling on the ground.

“He’s mine.” Kui Duo stared coldly at the black mist that had just tried to flirt with Fu Qiao. His hand tightened around the boy’s thigh.

-

After the level’s mission was complete, Fu Qiao was no longer locked in a dark room. Instead, Kui Duo took him back to Heaven.

The boy curled up on the bed, sleeping lightly. The eerie aura that slipped free as his body relaxed circled Kui Duo’s fingertips like an affectionate puppy.

But no one dared think of Fu Qiao as Kui Duo’s pet puppy monster anymore.

After all, pets don’t get taken out of Heaven by Kui Duo to watch fireworks on their eighteenth birthday.

And they certainly don’t wake up the next day with their arms and legs covered in densely packed red kiss marks.

*Single-couple, happy ending.

*The love interest is mixed-race.
