How to Fall in Love with a Beautiful Woman Who Brings Misfortune [Apocalypse]

-

The thirtieth year after the apocalypse began.

Bai Qi, who had no special abilities, had seen two ability users who were technically his partners, along with several others he had flirted with, meet untimely deaths.

None of them had survived more than seven days.

The reputation of being gentle and refined, yet a jinx to one's husband, was soon pinned on Bai Qi.

Everyone kept their distance, except for a newly arrived B-rank ability user.

The young man was direct and affectionate only with Bai Qi, often putting on a wounded expression to beg for his sympathy.

According to this B-rank ability user, he simply suffered from skin hunger.

Seeing that the newcomer had been around Bai Qi for more than seven days without anything happening, quite a few people began entertaining improper thoughts.

The result was that they died in various ways, just like the ability users who had died before them.

When he heard the news of those ability users' deaths, Lin Zhuo was curled up in the crook of Bai Qi's neck. He murmured, "Big Brother, why did they all die? Does Heaven think they weren't good enough for you, too?"

Bai Qi stroked Lin Zhuo's short hair with his fingertips and looked down at him without a word.

He wondered: Was he really a jinx to his husbands? Or were all those deaths connected to the person in his arms?

After Lin Zhuo left, the young man ran his fingers over a thick stack of file folders, found the documents at the very bottom, and carefully read them through again.

Then... what if he falls in love with me?

After all, my target insists on snuggling in my arms and acting spoiled every night.

- He doesn't have skin hunger. The pursuer lied; he just wants to be close to his husband.
