I'm in New York, an ordinary high school student. I woke up one day and turned into a cat.

The good news: it's summer vacation. The bad news: I have no idea where I am.

This is a disaster. I'm completely unused to having a cat's body, and I can't even understand cat language. I ended up getting driven away and wandering the streets.

Just when I thought I was done for and would never make it home, a kind boy picked me up!

Thank you, kind boy. You must have accumulated boundless good karma, and you'll surely be able to, wait, isn't this my longtime crush and deskmate?

That's right. This summer, I turned into the cat of the person I'm in love with.

Wait, deskmate, I'm just a cat right now. Don't tell me who you've been crushing on for ages and that you're about to confess to her...

I don't want to know who that woman is!

After turning into a cat, it seems like my first love is about to have a bad ending.

But I quickly pulled myself together.

Being a cat is great. Being a cat is the best.

So I said, as I meowed loudly while lying outside the bathroom door.

If I can't have his heart, can't I at least admire his beautiful naked body?

No, I should probably learn a little about how he feels, too.

So I said, as I openly snooped through my deskmate's diary.

What do you mean, you're Spider-Man?

What do you mean, you've had a crush on me too?
