[One Piece] The White Moonlight Who Died Young? Me?

Loki had no father around and no love from his mother as a child. From the moment he was born, he was considered an ill omen. On the very first day he opened his eyes, his own mother threw him off a cliff.

Loki stubbornly survived.

But as he grew up, it seemed that every misfortune in the world was blamed on him. Everyone around Loki hated him... except Beatrice, one of the king's guards.

Beatrice was the bravest warrior at the king's side. But she was always gentle with Loki, just as she was with everyone else. She seemed completely unconcerned by the "ill omen" surrounding him.

Loki always acted thoroughly disdainful toward Beatrice, behaving like a rebellious troublemaker.

Even though he admired her immensely.

Beiya opened an RPG and named the protagonist she'd created "Beatrice." She spent more than a hundred years (in-game) leveling up her account until it reached the maximum level.

The king she served in the game had two children.

The king was busy with construction projects and was away from the country for much of the year. Worried about his family, he entrusted his wife and children to her care.

Poor thing.

As a prince, Loki was branded an ill omen from birth. His own mother despised him, and the servants around him abused him.

Beiya brought Loki to live with her and watched him grow up.

She should have watched the prince grow up in peace and the kingdom flourish.

The king went inexplicably berserk.

She was the first person the king stabbed to death.

Right in front of Loki.

...This is bad. He already made fun of me all the time. Now the title "Elbaf's Strongest" is going to be shattered in Loki's eyes, too.

Beiya thought this just before her character got killed.

But it didn't matter. It was only a game, after all.

Beiya made a new level-zero account. She created a new face, entered a new map, and set off to enjoy a new world all over again.

Beiya transmigrated.

She became the character on her new account, starting from the start on the Grand Line and joining the Straw Hat Pirates.

She arrived at Elbaf.

What a nostalgic place. Too bad I'm not myself anymore...

Wait, I switched to a new account. My race, age, and face are all different. How on earth did you recognize me, Loki?!

Reading Guide:

* Before the female lead fakes her death, she feels only ordinary familial affection for the male lead. In fact, that remains true all the way through the main story. No strange feelings, and no grooming.

* After faking her death, she uses a secondary account, which joins the Straw Hat ship.

* She will return to her main account later.
