My Apocalypse Animal Companion Is a Honey Badger

One day in the year 6102, an unremovable game app appeared on everyone's phone.

When they opened it, the first thing they encountered was a gacha draw.

Some drew a tiger, SSR rank, attack type;

some drew a wolf, SSR rank, cooperative type;

some drew a wild boar, SSR rank, support type.

But when Chen Yi opened the game, what he drew was... a honey badger.

SR rank, special countermeasure type.

Looking at the tiny honey badger, nicknamed the "African Honey Badger," then at the mighty eagles, tigers, and wolves everyone else had drawn...

Chen Yi shed jealous tears.

But the game couldn't be restarted, and the animals couldn't be changed, so Chen Yi simply accepted the honey badger as his partner and began playing.

Together with his honey badger companion, Chen Yi spent a month maxing out their affinity, learning how to build a base, and picking up a ton of survival tips that were completely useless in everyday life.

He thought this farming and base-building game would just keep going like that...

Then, a month later, the apocalypse arrived.

The starter animals in everyone's phones stepped out of the screens and became their only companions.

Humans and animals began their struggle to survive the apocalypse together.
