Spoiling Torrekia #Best friends should sleep together every day! #Just because he turned evil doesn't mean we stop wanting him #A few things about falling in love with a childhood friend who showed up out of nowhere #Married with children in the Land of Light: everyday life with our second child.
Taro was straight. He was sure of it. So what if he and his best friend Torrekia had hit it off at first sight and fallen for each other at second sight? A best friend was still a best friend! The kind who went everywhere together, slept in the same bed every night, and raised their children together!
Torrekia was straight too. He was sure of it. So what if he and Taro had faced life and death together so often that their hearts were as one, and they'd raised two kids together? A best friend was still a best friend!
Why did everyone who'd seen them say their relationship had turned into something else?! (shouting)
Because of Grimd's curse, Taro and Torrekia both lost their memories and ended up in another world.
Kirisaki had amnesia. When he woke up, there was a child named Snark beside him, calling him Father. As they spent time together, Kirisaki realized the child wasn't human. But that was fine, because he wasn't human either.
One day, he met a human with tremendous strength and a very nice body. They'd only just met, but the man was already circling around him. With an innocent expression, Kirisaki was like a pure white jasmine flower. He said, "I have a husband."
The demon-slaying swordsman named Kotaro looked just like a dog caught in the rain. How cute, Kirisaki thought with delight.
After that, they traveled together. Kotaro was considerate toward both him and the child. Kirisaki thought he might be falling in love with him. One day, countless demons came after him. The battle lasted until sunrise. Covered in blood, Kotaro smiled at him against the rising sun. From that moment on, the scene was etched into Kirisaki's mind, never to fade.
He walked over with an umbrella, took Kotaro's hand, and said, "Please marry me."
Kotaro's face turned red in response.
After that, they happily began preparing for their wedding, with Snark set to be their flower boy. Then, on the night before the wedding...
One of Kotaro's former companions found him and told him what they'd worked so hard to uncover: "A new Demon King has been born. His name is Kirisaki."
"Kotaro, if Kirisaki doesn't die, the man-eating demons will never disappear."
Holding the child's hand, Kirisaki witnessed the scene from outside the door. At those words, Kotaro lowered his head. After a moment, he said, "I understand." He tightened his grip on his sword, then raised his head, determination filling his face.
Kirisaki watched it all silently from outside. Twisted love gnawed at his heart.
That night, he dripped his blood into a wineglass. Kotaro suddenly embraced him from behind and whispered in his ear, "Let's elope, Kirisaki."
...The wineglass shattered on the floor.
Reading guide:
1. This is an alternate timeline: Torrekia was adopted by Father and Mother of Ultra and shared a bed with Taro from childhood.
2. The distinction between White Torrekia and Dark Torrekia isn't very clear in this story. He's probably a fully fused, chaotic Torrekia (not really). He can be good or evil, and loves stirring up trouble. Whether the result is good or bad depends on who's involved. But that's fine, Taro will keep an eye on his Torrekia.
3. What kind of story has childhood sweethearts, a love born of bitter hatred, a saint's selfish desire, two paths diverging, and ultimately two roads leading to the same end? It achieves the ending of being separated by life and death, then happily ends in tragedy. (Round X, you've really done nothing but cause trouble.)
4. The story is split sixty-forty between the main couple's romance and their everyday life raising kids. First they have Snark, then Tiga is born again. They achieve the everyday life of a family with two children, and live happily ever after as a family of four.
5. The curse called Grimd is actually titled How to Rewrite a Tragic Ending into a Happy One.
6. An atypical pregnancy story. The first child is a product of an experiment, while the second is Tiga, formed by the fusion of light particles.
7. In every world, both of them lose their memories and end up on opposing sides. (I just love this kind of love born of bitter hatred!! Shouting.)
8. More to be added if I think of anything.
