Do Bad Boys Play Volleyball Too?

[Young man, do you long for life in another world?]

The instant he heard the voice, Sanqiao shot upright. What? Could he be the protagonist of a Jump manga?! Was his boring life finally about to take a turn?!

He raised his hand without hesitation. "Yes! Please, send me there!"

[Then! Let's play volleyball!]

The newly emerged private school Softleaf High School's volleyball team shocked the entire volleyball world right from their debut.

An unbeatable, underhanded setter; a sinister middle blocker with a villainous face; three gorilla-like outside hitters; and... two seemingly ordinary tagalongs?

And why were their clothes and manner of speaking so weird? Were they really not delinquents?

The good-natured volleyball players huddled together, trembling.

"A practice match... What's a practice match?"

Sanqiao leaned against the wall, thinking.

But Jinjing stood tall and scoffed at what they were saying.

"So it's a match. Then why not go straight to the strongest team? Hey, who's the strongest school right now?"

[No... Why would they agree to play a team no one's ever heard of?] the mysterious voice objected.

Xiangliang gave a derisive laugh.

"Huh? We can just block their entrance and surround them. They won't be allowed to leave until they play us properly."

Everyone looked impressed.

[...I'm begging you, please don't do that!] The mysterious voice was on the verge of breaking down.

Everyone ignored it.

The mysterious voice had no choice but to lower its voice.

[I'll dock your bonus.]

Now they had no choice but to obey the mysterious voice!

Everyone looked miserable.

Satoshi, the former leader of the Kyoukai gang and now so broke he had to sell takoyaki, tried to put his brain to work.

How could they arrange a practice match safely, legally, reasonably, and by the book?

The main cast of Kyou Kara Ore Wa are playing volleyball. Original team. They'll make it to nationals but won't win. A lighthearted story.
