The Little Demon on the Vine

A little demon knows his angelic older brother doesn't like him, so he gets dumped into a game world full of monsters. The only way home is to help the players clear the game.

As a little demon born to cause trouble, he doesn't care about getting home. What sounds fun is bullying humans until they bawl their eyes out.

So by day, he acts like a frail, innocent flower. At night, he reveals his demonic form, snapping a little whip against his palm. "Humans, tremble!"

But instead of cowering in fear, the players gaze at him fondly.

Only the taciturn man in glasses in the corner lowers his head and trembles, as if terrified.

From then on, alongside beating up monsters, scaring the timid becomes the little demon's favorite pastime.

Until one day, a monster swallows him whole. Vines burst from the supposedly cowardly human, wrapping tightly around the drenched little demon.

Yuan Heng has no idea how to raise a demon.

He feeds a lively tentacle monster into the demon's tiny mouth, stuffing the little guy until his eyes roll back and he faints with a bulging belly.

The little demon tears up the vine-made clothes like a chew toy.

While playing with him, Yuan Heng looks away for a moment and nearly lets him become a monster's dinner...

He finds a soft mattress, makes a nest out of vines, and scatters glowing gems all around it. Pretending to be an innocent human, he turns bloody food into dainty little cakes and lulls the little demon, dragging a bunny plushie behind him, to sleep

then drives away everyone who tries to take his treasure, including the angel with the enormous wings.

As they near the end of the game, all the players are thrilled.

Until they see the words on the big screen, and everyone's face turns deathly pale.

[An exceedingly violent monster has infiltrated your group...]

The little demon cackles, revealing his true form as he stands on the vines. "I'm your final challenge."

"You're being forced to do this, right?"

"?"

[Beep! A monster is about to appear]

The little demon turns around with the players. In the corner, Yuan Heng, the most timid one of all, tilts his head back and smiles coldly.
