Is It Wrong to Fall for My Older Brother?

[After 17: A young woman × an older man with a cool heart | An unforgettable forbidden love]

"How could you fall in love with me?"

"I tried to hold myself back."

-

When Liang Ziyu was eight, she spent a night in Jiang Yue's bed as his childhood sweetheart. That year, he sat by the bed and read her Grimm's Fairy Tales all night.

At eighteen, during the summer after her college entrance exams, she slept in Jiang Yue's bed for the second time and said to him, "Isn't it only natural for a younger sister to love her older brother?"

People often say childhood sweethearts are prone to falling for each other.

But that theory didn't apply to Liang Ziyu and Jiang Yue.

As children, they rode the carousel together. He sat in front, and she sat behind. No matter how hard she chased after him, the carousel only went around in circles.

Perhaps that is the sorrow of growing up together.

One person grows up too soon, while the other remains in the past. He thinks she has mistaken dependence for love and wants to cut off the feelings budding in her heart.

So in the end, their love comes to an ugly end.

Years later, she receives a package in Hong Kong. Inside is an exquisite music box.

She wonders who sent it. It is wrapped in layer upon layer, as if it were a priceless treasure.

At sunrise, beside a tranquil blue harbor, the carousel on the music box begins to turn, and his voice slowly sounds: "Not loving you is a fallacy, the opposite of 'love.' The truth is, I love you."

If a quiet spring night is no time for love, then let us fall into passion beneath the summer sun.
