Jiang Gu Zheng Hui was one of the earliest undercover agents to infiltrate the Black Organization. Betrayed and turned into a test subject, he grew bored and linked himself to a high-dimensional System. The System was like a management game: with a mere tap of his finger, he could shape people's destinies.
And, as it happened, the game's protagonist turned out to be his long-lost son, Jiang Gu Ling?!
What does it take to raise your own son, an elite undercover agent? A truckload of intel, a pile of bombs, and a pile of handguns.
What do you do when your son won't eat or sleep? Drag him off to bed, buy him celery to eat, and get him a comfortable down comforter. Oh, it turns out my son can't sleep without his childhood friend, Zhu Fu. Better tuck a Zhu Fu Jing Guang into his blankets, too.
And so, as he raised him, Jiang Gu Ling finally went from wary and distrustful to numb acceptance, lying flat on his back with his belly exposed. He asked, “Who are you, anyway?”
Jiang Gu Zheng Hui was silent for a moment. “I'm your dad.”

Ever since he started police academy, there had been an incongruous higher-dimensional force in Jiang Gu Ling's life, and it was still there after he went undercover.
I'm already twenty-nine. Why is this thing still treating me like a kid?! I just don't get it! Tossing celery into my blankets is one thing, but why throw a blanket into the pot? Wait, why is Hiro in my blankets, too?
With his own formidable abilities and the power of the high-dimensional System, Jiang Gu Ling kept rising through the ranks until he could stand on equal footing with Rum. To show his gratitude, he solemnly asked for the first time, “Who are you, anyway?”
Who could have guessed that the System would say, “I'm your dad!”
I have to punch him! Jiang Gu Ling thought. But when he finally saw those grayish-purple eyes, exactly the same as his own, he couldn't hold back his tears.
So it really was his own father: Jiang Gu Zheng Hui.
1. The help Jiang Gu Zheng Hui gives Ling Ling is limited because his perspective is fuzzy (?). Ling still has to handle the undercover work himself.
2. This is all about a father's love as steadfast as a mountain. Jing and Ling are platonic, with misunderstandings.
3. Giving the original Ling Ling a home, lol.
Theme: A father's love is as steadfast as a mountain.
