My Lovesick Older Sister Has Awakened

In her previous life, Shi Fang, a lively young woman from the common streets, was hopelessly lovestruck.

She could fall for a vegetable farmer while buying groceries, or fall in love with a restaurant waiter while eating out~

After her mother died, there was no elder left to keep her in line.

Lured by a traveling merchant, she abandoned a houseful of young siblings and ran off with him to a distant town, only to spend her life struggling and get nothing in return.

Her younger siblings each lived hard lives too, yet they still often sent her things and money to help her out.

Shi Fang regretted it deeply. Given another chance at life, she resolved not to be so foolish again.

The neighbors of Tonghua Lane were amazed. The eldest daughter of the Shi family, once desperate to marry, had suddenly changed her ways. No longer chasing after young men, she was instead organizing her siblings to go through the streets and sell food.

Cold noodles, bean drink, steamed buns, pan-fried tofu... They were willing to sell anything!

And whatever else you might say, their cooking really was quite good.

The cold noodles came topped with chopped pickled long beans and blanched bean sprouts, then tossed in a secret sauce. They were springy, smooth, and refreshing~

In the blazing summer heat, they were utterly irresistible.

As the seasons turned, the poor Shi household began to fill with the aroma of meat every day.

Shi Fang looked at her younger siblings, their bellies full and their clothes warm, and saw that she had even managed to save a little money.

She thought things through carefully. They couldn't let their days go to waste. They needed to buy land and open a shop, so their money could make more money.

Her younger siblings also needed to learn a trade. With a skill to rely on, they would have a better chance of making a living, whatever the future brought...
