The Male Ghost and His Wife of Three Years

After her husband died, He An dutifully observed three years of widowhood. But lately, she had suddenly noticed that things at home had started to feel strange.

The water jar was always full. The dishes she hadn't had time to wash the day before were clean by the next morning. Her clingy little cat would sometimes bristle and growl at her, while her annoying neighbor would turn pale and lower his head to avoid her whenever he saw her.

Strangest of all, although it was the height of summer, she felt cool and comfortable every night when she went to bed.

Even with the windows closed, a cool breeze would always brush gently past her ear at night.

Then one day, after He An had gone to great lengths to send off an unwelcome guest, she woke in the night to a familiar heat. When she opened her eyes, she saw that same guest from earlier holding her tightly in his arms, bending close to her ear and whispering seductively.

"Madam He, your beloved is gone. Why keep denying yourself?"

"Why not take a closer look at someone else?"

"Look at me. How do I compare to the man you lost?"

A plainspoken wife who is afraid of ghosts but firmly determined to remain a widow x a ghost who falls in love with the heroine at first sight after losing his memory. One-on-one, a sweet little romance.
