[Getting back into writing, updates may be irregular]
One day, the junior sister of an immortal sect was ambushed by the Demon Clan while out on an errand. After going missing for several days, she came back with a handsome young man in tow as her attendant.
On the first day, the eldest senior brother saw the handsome young man leaning against the junior sister's shoulder with teary eyes, begging for comfort because the mattress wasn't soft enough. He flew into a rage.
The junior sister explained, "His eyes are teary because he's laughing."
The eldest senior brother snapped, "I saw it with my own eyes! How could I be wrong?!"
On the second day, the second senior sister saw the handsome young man holding up a finger scratched by a tree leaf, weakly complaining to the junior sister about how much it hurt.
The junior sister explained again, "He's putting on a pitiful act because he's haggling with me over his monthly wages as an attendant. He thinks a hundred thousand spirit stones is too little."
The second senior sister raged, "This man is only after your money. He's not a good match for you!"
On the third day, the third senior brother saw the handsome young man climb a tree to escape the junior sister's suitors, trembling with fear.
The junior sister cried out in alarm, "Quick, send people to escort my suitors home. Don't let them die at our doorstep!"
The third senior brother: "?"
By the Nth day, the entire cultivation world thought the handsome young man the junior sister had picked up was nothing but a crybaby living off her.
Until one day, the Demon Clan joined forces with foreign clans and fought all the way to the border of the immortal sects, abducting their junior sister.
When everyone rushed over on their flying swords, they saw the seemingly frail young man standing amid heaps of corpses, sword in hand, blood staining his face and killing intent in his eyes.
Everyone froze for a moment, then turned as one to look at the junior sister held against the young man's chest.
The junior sister tried to wriggle her head out of his arms and said guiltily, "I told you he was super strong. You just didn't believe me."
Everyone: "..."
