Short story
The protagonist is an inferior omega from a wealthy family, hopelessly romantic to a fault.
To marry his boyfriend, a man from humble beginnings, his parents kicked him out of the family.
But he has a secret: he can see pop-up comments about the plot involving him and his husband.
In the comments, his husband is a devoted, patient, and utterly perfect alpha who simply can't express himself.
He helped his husband build a company, but his husband called him useless, spoiled, promiscuous, and incapable of having children, saying no one but him would ever want him. His husband treated him like he was worthless.
But the comments all said it was a misunderstanding.
He endured misunderstanding after misunderstanding for seven years.
Then one day, he asked his husband why he was acting so intimately with the beautiful young beta secretary who had just joined the company. His husband said nothing, but smashed the keepsake he had given him as a token of their love.
The protagonist stared in disbelief at the shards scattered across the floor, as if looking at the wreckage of his marriage.
Was his husband humiliating him like this because he wasn't young anymore?
Should he really stay?
He couldn't take it anymore. In the pouring rain, he resolutely left a divorce agreement behind and walked away from the alpha he had loved for seven years.
In the rain, the pop-up comments desperately defending his husband and begging him to stay left him chilled to the bone.
But before the anxious husband the comments had described could arrive, a vivid, fiery red rose appeared before him, so bright it almost hurt to look at.
Then a young alpha's voice, barely able to contain its excitement, came from behind the flower.
"Senior, I heard you're finally divorced!!"
A little scene:
At a banquet, the new love and the ex-husband meet.
The new love raises his left hand, casually showing off the diamond ring on his middle finger. "Oh no, how did the pink diamond Brother specially flew to Harbor City to buy me for 150 million get dirty? I'll just wipe it off."
The ex-husband, desperately clinging to the hope of winning back his ex-wife's heart: ...
The new love: "Honestly, how can I be so careless?"
The ex-husband finally snaps: "You're a grown man. Aren't you embarrassed to wear such a girly color?!"
The new love pretends to be surprised: "But Brother says I'm young, so pink suits me~"
The ex-husband turns red with rage: "Get out!! All of you, get out!!!"
And so their conversation ends on a sour note.
Reader's guide:
1. Short story, switches partners. A love-struck protagonist who wakes up from his delusion and is tired of it x a younger, cunning, devoted, puppy-like top who plays innocent.
2. The protagonist is not sexually inexperienced, but the top is. The protagonist is very capable, just hopelessly romantic. Once he wakes up, he gets over it.
3. Dramatic angst and scum getting what they deserve. Don't read if that's not your thing.
