Synopsis

[A short, sweet crush story / Love that breaks in / Urban light comedy]

[Socially anxious, sweet comic artist x loner, tsundere misanthrope]

Lou Nian bought a game cartridge from a local seller on Xianyu and arranged to pick it up in person.

She took the subway for an hour to reach the seller's neighborhood. The moment she saw the seller, "Fishbone," in person, she was dazzled by his breathtaking looks from every angle.

Lou Nian kept a calm face, but screamed and spun in circles inside as she embarked on her crush journey.

However, as a major introvert, Lou Nian didn't dare say more than a few words to "Fishbone."

To create chances to see him, all she could do was keep a close eye on his Xianyu account, refreshing it countless times a day.

Fishbone listed a nearly new ergonomic chair. Lou Nian snapped it up and left a message saying she'd pick it up in person.

Fishbone listed a brand-new, limited-edition pair of size 42 basketball shoes. Lou Nian snapped them up and left a message saying she'd pick them up in person.

Fishbone listed a nearly new 100-inch TV. Lou Nian snapped it up and left a message saying she'd pick it up in person...

Half a month later, Lou Nian had made no progress with her crush, but her home had become a dedicated recycling station for Fishbone's junk.

Yu Ci suspected someone might be keeping an eye on his Xianyu account.

Lately, whatever he listed seemed to be instantly bought by the same local buyer, who always picked it up in person.

To test his theory, Yu Ci tentatively listed two large tubs of expired protein powder.

Sure enough, a buyer named Xiao Lou snapped them up a minute later.

At his wit's end, Yu Ci asked her: [What do you need two tubs of expired protein powder for?]

Xiao Lou: [Uh... to make fermented liquid fertilizer.]

Yu Ci simply asked her directly: [How long are you going to keep buying my stuff?]

Then Yu Ci saw a message that had been sent and withdrawn two seconds later.

Xiao Lou: [Until you list yourself for sale, all packaged up?]

Yu Ci: ...?
