What to Do When Your Ex Is Your Client

Rekindled Romance | Marriage Before Love | Sweet Pursuit of His Wife

Lu Yang had been a model student all her life. For once, she decided to rebel and dragged her best friend to a bar to drown her sorrows.

Her friend brought along an underclassman, saying she wanted Lu Yang to have a bad day at work but a good night in love.

After a few rounds of drinks, Lu Yang bumped into a solid chest at a table by the dance floor. Her hands just happened to touch...

"You have such nice hands, Underclassman."

When Lu Yang woke up in a hotel, she couldn't remember a thing. Her friend told her the underclassman had left early the night before because something had come up.

With no time to dwell on it, Lu Yang grabbed her bag and dashed off to make it to the morning meeting.

When she saw her ex sitting on the client side, Lu Yang thought she must still be dreaming.

A friend invited Shang Yuting to show support at a newly opened bar. He'd planned to sit for a while and then leave, but in the middle of the dance floor, he spotted a familiar face.

What should he do when his ex-girlfriend brazenly gropes him and even wants to sleep with him?

Shang Yuting called his assistant in the middle of the night and told him to inspect the working conditions at the contractor's company at eight the next morning.

The assistant rubbed his sleepy eyes. "...Huh?"

The contractor's director fawned over Shang Yuting and warmly invited him to attend an industry gala to announce their partnership.

Shang Yuting scanned the room, his eyes settling on the familiar figure with her head bowed in a corner.

"Have her be my date."
